The warning says: "There was a problem with auto-saving perhaps the disk is full. Do you want to try auto-saving again? Thanks for your help Frederick OSX Back to top All threads Re: Sib. That can cause this problem. Si me castigare vis, necesse est me intellexisse. What should the correct heirarchy be?
Should the Autosave be in the Backup folder or what? In 2 Backup scores I have another Auto and Backup 5. I should imagine you need to delete the unwanted folders - i. However I should look at the contents of the backup folders to make sure you don't delete anything you want - move anything you need to the first backup folder in the "scores" folder.
Does anyone know if the hierarchy is the same as with a PC? This is nothing short of masterful prose. Too idle to take proper care of their work, they would just save stuff in the backup folder then, when they needed to save something with the same filename, they would panic at the warning and create a new folder to put the file in partly my fault inside the backup or autosave folder and so it would go.
Endless hours of fun finding files. I, personally, do use autosave but don't use the scores folder for files. There have been far too many system crashes in the past to take chances. For beginners, I would heartily recommend creating a folder structure with a separate folder for each piece, possibly with a subfolder for parts. This applies whether it's a 2 minute ditty or a 45 minute symphony. I do save to another folder that I called "Sibelius" and never have backed up knowingly to the avid media composer 8 autosave free Scores" folder.
This is why I was so confused as to the many folders within folders. I will try deleting the extra folders and hopefully that will end the "Auto-save warning" that I get. Do you know if your drive letters have changed for any reason? Thanks for everyone's help. Frederick Back to top All threads Re: Sib. Can someone advise? Is your case on Windows avid media composer 8 autosave free Mac OS? In either case, what changes might avid media composer 8 autosave free happened on this computer between the last time that Sibelius last worked normally, and the first time this error message occurred?
However it seems to be random avid media composer 8 autosave free - for example, the main file in this situation, never gets uploaded, whereas most but not all Sibelius's backups of that file do see screenshot. Despite my pestering them, SafeSync's technical department keep referring me to general FAQs which are of no help.
